There's Value in Feeling Valued

November is National Gratitude Month, and to recognize that, I want to share my appreciation to the many clients, connections, friends, and family who have helped Doug Legore Media (DLM) thrive.

This month marks the second anniversary of starting my small business that seeks to Share Your Story, and its success could not have happened without the support of so many amazing people.

Changing direction in a career by starting a new business can be daunting, especially when you’re on the “greyer side” of fifty. But thanks to the support of super people, it’s been an exciting, new chapter in a storyteller’s saga.

I appreciate the clients who have become good friends and recommend me to their connections, and the former co-workers who hire me to produce stories for their new brand and bring me back for return work. Thanks, too, to those organizations who invite me to serve on their boards, teach classes as an adjunct professor, or speak at their workshops.

There’s value in feeling valued. For that I’m grateful.
